Processing chain

Rigorous, sustainable, certified.

We follow seven steps from the farm gate to the Flexitank. Each step has its own controls, and each lot is documented all the way through.

  1. 01 / 07

    Receiving & logistics

Deliveries are scheduled with farmers and cooperatives so the plant gets a steady supply of avocados. Every delivery is weighed and recorded.

Farmers weigh crates of avocados before delivery.
  2. 02 / 07

    Storage

Storage space is managed to keep the fruit fresh and let it reach the right ripeness for pressing.

  3. 03 / 07

    Sorting & washing

The fruit is sorted and prepared, including a thorough wash. Fruit that is not good enough for oil goes to the by-product lines.

Avocados are washed and sorted on a stainless-steel line.
  4. 04 / 07

    Inspection & hygiene

Staff inspect the fruit on the sorting line and keep strict hygiene standards across the floor.

  5. 05 / 07

    Laboratory control

Our in-house lab checks quality and analyses samples from every production run.

A technician inspects a vial of avocado oil in the laboratory.
  6. 06 / 07

    Purity certification

Every lot is analysed and certified for purity and authenticity to meet international standards.

  7. 07 / 07

    Packaging & dispatch

The oil is packed in secured Flexitanks for shipment to local and international buyers.

A flexitank-fitted container is prepared for shipment.

Quality

Certification is a commitment we have put a date on.

We are working towards ISO and HACCP certification within two years of starting operations. Until then, every lot comes with our own laboratory analysis, and buyers are welcome to send independent samples for testing.
